This Privacy Policy explains how Aliden AI, operated by DKane Sounds Pty Ltd, handles information when you use the Aliden AI mobile application.

1. Information We Process

• Messages and prompts you send to Aliden AI.
• Images, photos, screenshots, PDFs, documents, and other files you choose to upload.
• Voice input when you use voice features.
• Approximate location information when you grant location permission and ask a location-dependent question.
• Your selected app language and harmless preferences such as units, currency, or preferred response style.
• Subscription and purchase status provided through Google Play Billing.
• Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as network requests and error information.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to provide and improve Aliden AI features, including answering questions, understanding images and documents, generating or editing images, maintaining conversation continuity, providing current information when requested, and supporting subscription access.

3. Location

Aliden AI does not continuously track your location. Approximate location is requested only when a feature or question requires it, such as weather or nearby information. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.

4. Voice

Microphone access is used only when you choose to use voice input or voice conversation features. Aliden AI does not continuously record your microphone in the background.

5. Images and Files

Images and files are processed only when you choose to upload or create them. Aliden AI may temporarily store the most recent working image on your device so you can continue editing it. The current working image may be kept for up to 30 days unless replaced or cleared earlier.

6. Conversation History and Preferences

Saved chat history and selected preferences may be stored locally on your device to help Aliden AI continue previous conversations and remember your chosen settings. You can clear saved chat history from within the app.

7. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI for artificial intelligence processing.
• Render for backend hosting.
• Google Play for subscriptions and billing.
• Google or Android services for device capabilities such as speech, file selection, and location permissions.

Information sent to these providers is limited to what is needed to provide the requested feature and is subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Current Information and Web Sources

When you ask for information that may change over time, such as news, weather, sports, prices, or exchange rates, Aliden AI may use web search capabilities and may show source links used to support the response.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app and backend services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention

Local chat history and preferences remain on your device until cleared, the app data is deleted, or the app is uninstalled. The latest remembered working image may be retained locally for up to 30 days. Data processed by third-party service providers may be retained according to their own policies and service requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

Aliden AI is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Parents or guardians should supervise children's use where required.

12. Your Choices

You can control permissions through your Android device settings, clear chat history in the app, choose whether to provide location or microphone access, and uninstall the app at any time.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Aliden AI features, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
